Max highlights the skills that he gained whilst studying BSc Geography at undergraduate and from his PgCert in Flood & Coastal Risk Management as fundamental to his current role as a hydraulic modeller. However, Max’s time at Lancaster also saw him develop as a person, making long-lasting friendships, with fond memories of international field-trips to Iceland and Spain.

Elliot Mateus (Royal Bank of Scotland)

Elliot chose to study at Lancaster University after he fell in love with the campus, with its large collegiate community, and because of LEC’s highly regarded nature as a global institution. Whilst studying, Elliot thoroughly enjoyed the variety of modules undertaken, developing his analytical and communication skills which are fundamental in his current job role, whilst he also enjoyed participating in LUSU’s International Cultural Exchange programme.
