ACTUATE website launched
ACTUATE has launched its website. ACTUATE works closely with schools, universities, research institutes, NGOs and SMEs to show how a circular economy positively impacts on human health and the environment. The new website showcases the development of the project’s anaerobic digestion demonstration systems in Accra, Ghana and Benin City, Nigeria.
Led by Lancaster University and funded with around £700,000 from the Global Challenges Research Fund Translation Awards call, through UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), ACTUATE builds on the work started in RECIRCULATE to deliver electricity, sustainable fertilizer for crops and sanitation improvements through the development of anaerobic digestion demonstrator systems in Ghana and Nigeria.
