2020 RECIRCULATE Knowledge Exchange & Engagement Workshop ends
The third edition of the RECIRCULATE Knowledge Exchange & Engagement Workshop came to a close today. The final day featured a panel session on tips for successful grant writing with contributions from Professor Edward Lungu (Dean of Science at Botswana International University of Science and Technology), Dr Cynthia Forson (Deputy Provost, Lancaster University Ghana), Martin Gilmore (Head of Partnerships and Business Engagement for Physical Sciences, Lancaster University), Dr Akan Odon (Envirofly) and Dr Andy Pickard (Manager, Centre for Global Eco-innovation, Lancaster University). Following this most of the delegates worked on submitting proposals for residencies in Lancaster in July 2020.
Proceedings were brought to a close this evening in Gaborone, Botswana with fifty delegates from eight African countries and the UK KE team being presented with certificates from Professor Edward Lungu, Dean of Science at Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST). Finally, Brigadier DK Mokgwathi of Botswana Defence Force thanking the workshop delivery team and presentation of gifts.
