Lancaster University has a vibrant student and alumni community, with two student societies celebrating graphic novels and comics, as well as a number of undergraduate and postgraduate students and alumni who have been engaged in creating or supporting arts-based projects, including comics!

ReOPeN student and alumni representatives are: 

• Andi Setiawan, Lancaster Institute for Contemporary Arts’ PhD student, Lecturer in Interior Design Department, Faculty of Art and Design, Sebeles Maret University, Indonesia
• Inés Gregori Labarta, English and Creative Writing alumna, Associate Lecturer. Inés is the Director of the artistic platform The Wandering Bard. 
• Leonie Bradshaw, Lancaster Institute for Contemporary Arts alumna.
• Zoe Hurley, Educational Research alumna, Associate Dean, College of Communication and Media Sciences, Zayed University, UAE
