Engagement

REAP seeks to stimulate interest and participation amongst teachers, community practitioners and young people in conducting and engaging with research. For REAP, engagement involves recognising the expertise of different voices and bringing these together to develop productive conversations and knowledge exchange about research.

Projects include:

  • Teachers engaging with research: working with teachers on small scale research and evaluation projects
  • RCUK – SUPI: School University Partnership Initiative designed to inspire the next generation of researchers
  • Barrow Youth RE-ACTION Team (YRAT) – working with young people from schools in Barrow who were supported to undertake research to access the student voice

We are currently working with teachers exploring different aspects of teacher and student wellbeing in their schools by supporting them to undertake their own small scale research projects.
