Regional & National Widening Participation

REAP seek to understand the context for any project, its aims and the approach taken. We have a longstanding history of working collaboratively to encourage project teams to be reflective about their own practices and development and consider ways ways to improve their programmes or policies and ensure sustainability of their influence in the longer term.  We use in-depth methods to assess the outcomes and provide feedback for practitioners during the lifetime of a project and generate evaluative reports and outputs that serve the needs of strategic and development groups as well as external funders.  We have played an active role in the evaluation of:

  • the Cumbria and Lancashire consortia of the National Network of Collaborative Outreach (NNCO) and the current National Collaborative Outreach Programmes (NCOP) of Future U (Lancashire) and Hello Future (Cumbria);
  • Lancashire, Cumbria and NW Aimhigher evaluations on summer schools, Families, STEM, Disabled Students and working in partnership.
