Comics and graphic novels in English language learning: the latest project

The Comics for Inclusive English Language Learning (CIELL) project is an ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership (€234,289) in Higher Education that aims to develop the competences of second language teachers by promoting the use of comic art, and other visual representations of knowledge, to enhance the quality of teaching materials and make them more relevant to supporting the needs of all and particularly dyslexic learners in a socially inclusive manner. The project is led by a team at Lancaster University (Julie-Ann Sime (PI) and Co-Is: Chryssa Themelis, Judit Kormos and Natasa Lackovic).

We look forward to sharing relevant news as the project unravels.
