The latest graphic project: health inequalities

The latest ReOPeN-linked project explores health inequalities across the UK.

Artist Joe Decie has been working with two researchers at Lancaster University – Dr Emma Halliday ( Health and Medicine) and Dr Natasa Lackovic (Educational Research) – to create a collective graphic memoir booklet about UK communities’ experiences and action, related to health inequalities.

The project was funded by The National Institute for Health Research Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care, North West Coast (NHR CLAHRC NWC).

The image is a snapshot of one page in the booklet (copyrights @JoeDecie 2018).

We are all looking forward to sharing this booklet with the communities across the UK and everyone interested in community experience and what could be done to improve the lives of our communities.
