Social Inclusion, peer-reviewed journal indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index (Web of Science) and Scopus (2017 CiteScore: 0.97), is preparing an issue on urban citizenship and the promotion of social inclusion. The issue will aim to provide examples from different cities worldwide and explore the tensions, harmonies and dissonances between formal institutional inclusion and “grey areas” of exclusion, or partial inclusion, in health and in the workplace, in organizational work, cultural life, and more.
