Applications are invited for a 2 year full time, fixed term Senior Research Associate position to work on a project investigating ‘Flexibility’ in energy systems. This project is part of the Flexibility theme in The Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions (CREDs). You need a Social Science PhD and an interest, or experience in themes of time, consumption/technology studies and/or energy demand, plus experience in interviewing and secondary data analysis. The aim is to investigate forms of flexibility within energy systems, past, present and future. The job involves working with historians and exploring methods of quantifying and representing relations between supply and demand, as those vary over time.
