Professor Gert Westermann has been awarded a British Academy/Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship for the following 2016-2017 academic year.

The fellowship pays for a substitute lecturer to take over his teaching duties, thus granting Professor Westermann one full year to focus on studying curiosity-based learning in infants.
