Dr Andrea Livesey, Senior Lecturer in the History of Slavery at Liverpool John Moores University, will be discussing her ground-breaking research on Imagining ‘Granny Marie’: Understanding Black Maternal Health in Diasporic Spaces (Louisiana and Liverpool).
