Institute for Social Futures Mobile Utopia Intern Position

The Mobile Utopia project is looking for an intern to help with the analysis of everyday utopian objects, interviews, and observations. We can pay up to £500 for ca 40 hours of work. The work would involve:
- Archiving ‘Mobile Utopia’ Objects gathered during a series of events
- Creating an inventory (ideally using a database) including photos of all objects in the same format, with brief descriptions and transcripts of all texts
- Archiving and editing videos
- Adding photographs and videos to the website http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/mobility-futures/mobile-utopia/.
- Grounded Theory Analysis in collaboration with the team – this involves coding of objects and materials
The work should commence as soon as possible.
