Crowberry Consulting® Ltd is an environment, energy and ethical management consultancy providing audits, training and implementation for customers in the UK and EU. We specialize in ISO Management Systems and Ethical Audits, including ISO 14001 environmental, ISO 50001 energy, ISO 20121 Sustainable Events and SEDEX. We have over 25 years’ experience of supporting businesses in these key areas. Crowberry Consulting Ltd are based in Chorley and this opportunity would be office based.

Main Duties

Crowberry Consulting is seeking a Legal Executive to support our customers in understanding the legal implications of BREXIT. We provide a product known as a legal register, which lists out all energy, environmental and social laws that can impact on UK business. After 1st March there is likely to be a lot of change to the local legislation. We are looking for support to research what the changes are going to be; if laws are to be revoked, changed or new ones created and to update our customer’s legal registers. There is opportunity to update our current FAQs on items such as waste, pollution, REACH in light of the BREXIT changes. There will be opportunity to support our customers directly with the updates to their legal registers.

Skills Required

Good research skills with ability to search government websites to pick apart the changes to the legislation. Good understanding of how these changes are applicable to business. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a small friendly team based in Chorley, Lancashire. An interest in sustainability is desirable as we work mainly on energy, environmental and ethical laws, so an understanding of climate change and global pollution issues would be an advantage but not essential.
