Day 1: Centre for the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, University of Manchester
Lectures, workshops, and seminar discussion of key theorists in the philosophy and sociology of science, such as Kuhn, Popper, and Feyerabend.
Day 2: University of Salford: Poetry and Science
Lectures, seminars, and group work on poetry written by scientists and poetry informed by science from the eighteenth to the twenty-first centuries.
The teaching team was Hasok Chang (Cambridge), John Holmes (Reading), Sharon Ruston (Salford), James Sumner (Manchester), Stephanie Snow (Manchester), and Michael Whitworth (Merton College, Oxford).
