Carsten Rother, Co-Head of Research Forecasts, Quoniam

About the Speaker:

Carsten is Co-Head of the Research Forecasts team, focusing on equities. Carsten joined Quoniam in 2023 after nine years as a research analyst at Invesco Quantitative Strategies, where he was also a member of the Global Management Team and the Research Coordination Committee. Carsten holds a master’s degree in finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Erfurt.

Being a Research Fellow at the Hamburg Financial Research Center, Carsten constantly bridges theory and practice to identify and manage salient drivers of capital market returns using quantitative techniques. He is a frequent speaker at academic and industry conferences and has published in academic and practitioner journals alike, including the Financial Analysts Journal, the Journal of Portfolio Management and the Journal of Fixed Income. Additionally, Carsten serves on the research committee of Inquire Europe.
