About the Speaker:

Giuseppe Cascarino is Advisor at the Financial Stability Directorate of the Bank of Italy, which he joined in 2015, in the Quantitative Analysis for Financial Stability Division. During his career he has been seconded to the European Central Bank and the European Banking Authority to work on the EU-wide Stress Test. His research and policy work focuses on credit risk and the application of machine learning techniques for forecasting and top-down stress testing models. He earned a Master in Economics and Finance from the University of Naples Federico II and a MRes Economics from the University College London.
