Food Security for Equitable Futures employs a mixed-methods approach. In the first phase of the project, we analyse secondary data from Young Lives, a multi-cohort longitudinal study of child poverty and well-being conducted in Ethiopia, India, Peru, and Vietnam. We also plan to collect primary qualitative data on food insecurity in the four countries, which in turn will lead into measure development for primary survey data.
