DATA USED IN THE BOOK The Art and Craft of Data-Based Mechanistic Modeling by Peter C. Young
Note: because of restrictions in WordPress at Lancaster University, all the data files for Chapters 2 to 5 are Microsoft WORD files. They should be opened in WORD and then copied-and-pasted into Matlab with a user-defined name.
1. Chapter 1: The climate data used for large model emulation are long time series unsuitable for download as a WORD file. They are available from https:/www.longrunmip.org, as noted in the book.
2. Chapter 2: Climate data used for DBM modeling between Total Radiative Forcing and Global Average Temperature
3. Chapter 3: Data as for Chapter 2 used for forecasting and control (management) studies
4. Chapter 4 COVID-19 epidemic data used for monitoring, forecasting and control (management) studies. NB that, in this case, the data extraction is more complicated and the WORD file contains Matlab code: follow the instructions in the file.
5. Chapter 5 Data used for modeling between relative Government & Private capital investment and Unemployment Rate
