New FASS Internships – Legal Executive and Socially Engaged Graphic Designer

We are currently advertising for two new 100-hour FASS internships!

Crowberry Consulting in Chorley are looking for a Legal Executive to work with their clients to provide quarterly reviews and updates of their legal registers for ISO standards. This involves researching current governmental websites and checking for any new modifications to the law/regulations and advising the clients of these. There will also be the opportunity to support one of their large clients with a sporting event and checking planning conditions and items such as Tree Preservation Orders and Species Protection Orders are being adhered to. The work will also involve researching government websites such as HSE and Environment Agency to check for legislation updates as appropriate to the client base and updating the client excel sheet with new and forthcoming legislation and checking documents which act as evidence of compliance (e.g. reviewing waste transfer notes). Training and coaching will be provided. This is a great opportunity to gain some real-world experience in a sustainability consultancy.

Arts Education company Changing Relations in County Durham is seeking a Socially Engaged Graphic Designer to design a booklet to accompany their ‘Grow a Pear’ educational campaign, supporting men engaged in domestic violence perpetrator programs to explore the ways in which gender norms and stereotypes have impacted their ideas about relationships. Changing Relations produce community-based participatory arts projects and deliver education and training to schools, businesses and organisations with the aim of breaking down gender barriers, fostering healthy relationships and transforming lives.

The closing date for Changing Relations is 17th April and for Crowberry Consulting 19th April so if you are interested in either of these great opportunities apply now!
