New FASS Internships with Lancaster Black History Group

Lancaster Black History Group (LBHG) is a relatively new grassroots community group of local residents working to fight racism through education. It was formed in June 2020 and includes representatives from across the community – local community activists, schoolteachers, arts organisations, voluntary groups, academics and historians. The group came together in response to the Black Lives Matter protests in the city. The main aim of the group is to make Lancaster a leading example of how Black British histories can be included in all aspects of education, arts and society.

We are currently advertising three FASS internships with Lancaster Black History Group:

Lancaster Black History and Mahogany Internship

Black History and Museum Internship

Lancaster Black History Group Website Internship

Further details, including a job description and person specification, are available on the links. The closing date for all three internships is 2nd February so if you are interested apply now!
