Are you looking at career options beyond solicitor/barrister pathways? We have a great opportunity for you!

We are welcoming Crowberry Consulting on to campus, to talk about their Legal Executive Summer Internship on Friday 21st at 1pm-2pm, in Bowland North Seminar Room 2! Don’t miss this chance to get insider knowledge to help you in your application.

In this lunchtime session you will hear from Becky Toal, MD of the company, and last year’s intern Cameron Wilson (now a final year Law student) about what it’s like working in the field of corporate sustainability. The Legal Executive internship vacancy is now on the Employment and Recruitment Service website.

Becky Toal – Crowberry Consulting:

We have worked with FASS for several years and can honestly say the quality of the student interns are amazing. We appreciate having the opportunity to host them and to work with the University.

Cam Wilson – 3rd Year Law student – FASS Internship with Crowberry Consulting:

When I joined Crowberry my aim was to develop my experience and professional skills in a dynamic industry. The MD of the company helped me to understand the role and how to support Crowberry Consulting’s customers. As the Legal Executive of the company I had been tasked with creating and updating legal compliance registers; carrying out research into Brexit, and any legal updates affected by this; update the Ethical Toolkit; and create a Modern Slavery Policy template to be purchased by companies.

As a law student going into his final year, I feel I have gained a considerable amount of experience and developed my skills and knowledge of professional etiquette, time and project management, communication, interaction with new clients, and building rapport across different industries; something which I would not have been able to develop without this opportunity. These skills are all valued and transferable for future employability, as I know in myself, I can conduct correctly myself in a professional environment.

This friendly informal session is open to all Law students. We hope to see you there!
