FASS Internship Scheme- Social Media Marketing Executive

 

Patton’s Community Ltd is an extensive online database of retail charities, including a national directory of Charity Shops, a free charity event advertising service and a news blog. Patton’s Community is a celebration of our nation’s charities, their staff, invaluable volunteers, their glorious charity shops, and of course their huge contribution to society and beyond. Patton’s is on a mission to spread the word about the work and passion of the charities and to inspire more involvement with them. They are looking for an intern to complete brief market research and help them to connect with student networks via a greater online presence, encouraging them to get involved with their charities.

 

Main Duties

  • Increase awareness of Pattons across UK Universities and encourage student unions and student networks to engage by gathering a social media based following.
  • Undertake market research amongst student networks to improve Patton’s services and gather useful feedback about the charity sector.
  • Help to identify potential revenue streams and create a marketing strategy for digital or creative mediums.

 

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Resilience and determination when collecting survey responses.
  • Experience with social media networks, blogs and image editing software.
  • Creative mindset.
  • Digitally aware.

Rate of Pay: £9.20 per hour including holiday pay for 140 hours
