OFFIGO is the UKs first digital platform supporting high street businesses by bringing together local news, information, offers and events to increase engagement and consumer confidence. They believe that by coming together we can save the high street. The intern will be responsible for generating content, such as news articles and stories, as part of a communication strategy to grow awareness and reach a wider audience. All articles can be read by users nationally by default with news also categorised per location.
Main Duties
- Blog updating and maintenance.
- Improving social media communications.
- Researching and creating appropriate blog content surrounding local high street issues.
- Liaising with press.
- Writing company press releases.
Skills Required
- Confident communicator and creative thinker.
- Experience in social media management.
- Ability to research consumer habits effectively and productively.
- Awareness of local high street issues and concerns.
- Strong literacy skills.
Important Dates

Interview date: TBC
Duration: 140 Hours
Location: Blackpool
Internship duration: 140 hours (eg. 8 hours per week for 17.5 weeks)
Rate of pay: £9.20 (including holiday pay) paid monthly upon weekly submission of ERS timesheets
