Internship Opportunity: Video Producer for Gledus Ltd
**This internship opportunity is exclusively available to current UG/PG students studying within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Lancaster University**
Can you plan, film and edit a series of short videos?
We are looking to create a series of testimonials videos, featuring our Chinese clients to be shared on Chinese social media platforms.
As a videographer, you will be tasked with shooting footage of testimonials, on Lancaster campus, and editing them into short creative videos to be posted on Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, Weibo and Youtube). The objective is for Gledus to become a trusted brand in the Chinese market for delivering insights into education in the UK.
They will set up and operate equipment; and assist with staging and set preparation.
The videographer will accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to production and post-production.
The videographer will work closely with the creative director to execute the concept through to completion.
Main Duties
- Determines what camera equipment is necessary and obtains equipment
- Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production
- Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
- Collects b-roll footage of campus as well as interviews
- Creates graphics
- Helps sustain and guide creative process
Skills Required
- Sound understanding of post-production elements
- Adobe Creative Cloud skills – Premier Pro, After Effects
- Understanding of footage/file management
- Understanding of delivering video to different formats and platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Enthusiastic and positive
Important Dates

End date: 18th March
Rate of Pay: £8.78 per hour (including holiday pay)
