Create a promotional video for a product Launch – Wray Castle

**This internship opportunity is exclusively available to current UG/PG students studying within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Lancaster University**

Can you plan, film and edit a series of short 1-2 min videos demonstrating a platform and its functionality?

Wray Castle (based in Kendal) provides training on telecommunication technologies across the industry sectors and on a global scale, including mobile and fixed network operators, transport, defence, energy and emergency services amongst others.

The company is building on the way they deliver learning by providing a convenient video and media library for telecommunication engineers, accessible at any time through a smartphone, tablet or laptop/desktop. Through this library, they aim to share their knowledge of the key technologies employed in the delivery of modern day telecommunication services.

The video library includes presentations from leading subject experts, covering the key telecommunication technologies used today.  The presentations have been expertly prepared by Wray Castle based on over 60 years’ experience training the telecoms sector, regarded as the best in the industry.

The company is looking for an experienced video producer or an individual studying video production to plan, film and edit a series of short 1-2 min videos demonstrating the platform and its functionality.  This work will assist with promoting the video platform by clearly illustrating the overarching features of the library and also the key benefits. This internship is for a total of 140 hours. The successful applicant will be expected to work both on-site and from home.

It is preferable for the individual to use their own laptop/computer and the video editing software they are most familiar with.  In this case, the individual should have a license for this software.  Alternatively, there is a laptop that can be used in the office with sony vegas editing suite.

Rate of Pay: £8.78 per hour (including holiday pay)
