A Lancaster based Literary Arts Community Interest Company (CIC), has identified a summer placement opportunity. The objective of the placement will be to support in research and application processes for targeted funding.
They provide emerging writers who are under-represented in publishing with opportunities to develop, as well as publishing and performance platforms.
Placement Activities
- Identification of funding sources
- Research funding opportunities and application requirements
- Funding strategy planning
- Reporting and presentation of research and plan
- Database / contact management recording

Person specification
Can evidence at interview:
- Research analysis and decision abilities
- Good communication skills – can articulate research outcomes
- Presentation skills

- Can self-manage a 140hour placement
- Confident with IT
- Interested in literary arts and social community activities

Recruiting early May. Start date dependent on successful candidate availability. (140 hours over 7 weeks between May and August)
