I am a PhD student at the Department of Information Systems at Freie Universität Berlin. I am researching the convoluted ways in which digital transformation processes unfold in practice, especially in public administration and public health organisations. My main interest is in developing counter-narratives to the dominant view of digitalisation as a heroic, top-down intervention, and instead conceptualise it as unowned change happening in everyday life. To this end, I am drawn to process philosophy and practice theories, and particularly to the material aspects of digital transformations and ‘the digital’. I enjoy genealogical, longitudinal, and qualitative research that makes visible the previously invisible and questions the taken-for-granted.
