I am a PhD student at the Institute of Marketing and Communication Management (IMCA) at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), Lugano. My research is focused on attention shifting in organizational contexts. I take a practice theory-based perspective to investigate attention as emerging from situated and materially mediated practices.
As part of the SNSF project “A Practice-theoretical Account of Organizational Attention”, I am currently working on talent scouting in football to shed light on the ways talent scouting practices are carried out in daily activity through different communities of practitioners and to what extent this intermeshing impacts organizational strategy.
