Feminist Movie Monday is a volunteer-led initiative in partnership with the Centre for Gender Studies.
Organised by a collective of folks who have been screening films in Lancaster for the last 10 years, the films selected prioritise the stories and productions of women and others who experience marginalisation and discrimination. Feminist Movie Monday is committed to inclusion and welcomes all.
Previous thematic series have included Witches, Retro Feminist Icons and Digital Bodies. We encourage audience discussion and contribution around each screening as well as providing an opportunity for people to get to know each other informally.
The film screenings are held once a month and free to attend.
