The project co-investigators were Prof Sandra Kemp, Director, The Ruskin – Library, Museum and Research Centre, Lancaster University and Visiting Professor, Imperial College London; Prof Hervé Inglebert, Professor of Roman History, University Paris Nanterre; and André Delpuech, Director, Musée de l’Homme, Paris. The postdoctoral researcher was Chiara Zuanni, Research Fellow, V&A Museum.

The project started at the V&A and Musée du quai Branly but moved to Lancaster University and the Musée de l’Homee in 2017, when Sandra Kemp and André Delpuech changed affiliations. Chiara Zuanni is now Assistant Professor in Digital Humanities, University of Graz.
