Lancaster University is giving you least three months off over the summer period- that is a lot of time on your hands! Yes, it can be filled with nights out, seeing your friends, precious family time and maybe a holiday (or two) but three months- 12 weeks- is a lot of time to fill. These summer months are the perfect time to build up your work experience and develop new skills with an internship or work placements.

The graduate job market is more competitive than ever so it is important that you don’t just come out of university with a degree you need to really make the most of your time and get involved with societies, sports, extracurricular activities and work experiences wherever possible. The FASS Placement Scheme is currently offering thirteen positions exclusively to FASS students across all year groups and these placements are the perfect opportunity for you to develop new skills, create networks and develop your experiences ready for entering the graduate job market.
