Flexibility project

The Flexibility project is focused on researching the changing relationship between the timing and extent of energy demand on the one hand, and the provision and consumption of energy services on the other.

It is one of ten projects taking place in the Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions (see below).

Centre for research into energy demand solutions (creds)

CREDS was established in 2018 and is working to understand the changes in energy demand needed for the transition to a secure and affordable, net-zero society. It involves researchers, businesses & policy makers and is funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Carolynne Lord is a Senior Research Associate in the CREDS Centre. Working with the research being conducted by the CREDS’ Flexibility project, she has developed the exhibits of the Gallery as a means of communicating some of the insights developed by the Flexibility team.
