This event is for Cumbrian businesses to find out more about the scientific equipment and facilities support on offer through the £4.1M Cumbria Innovations Platform. This new collaborative business support project will help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) throughout Cumbria to grow by accelerating the research and development of new products and processes.
Engagement with the Cumbria Innovations Platform could allow your business to access unique science and technology facilities and capabilities that would typically be unavailable to SMEs. This event will provide an introduction to the facilities available so that businesses can experience first-hand the regionally unique capabilities on offer.
Facilities include specialist equipment, laboratories and workshops in the fields of chemistry, engineering and physics. Dedicated Experimental Officers and Technology Access Consultants operate state-of-the-art equipment, allowing businesses to resource their analytical research and development requirements and accelerate product innovation.
This project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is available to ERDF eligible Cumbrian SMEs.
