Lancaster Words is a three-day celebration of the written and spoken word that is being run by the Department of English Literature & Creative Writing at Lancaster University.

It features appearances by writers and artists such as PJ Harvey, Paul Muldoon, Zen Cho, Carol Birch, Jenn Ashworth, Jo Baker and many others. The event launches on 6th July 2017 and runs through to July 8th.

As part of the three days, there will be a series of free and priced readings, interviews, talks, panel discussions, performances and workshops at different venues across the city and on campus. Click on the tabs to see what’s on, when and where.

Lancaster Words is led by a committee chaired by John Schad, and including Tajinder Hayer as Director, George Green as Assistant Director, and Yvonne Battle-Felton, Creative Producer, supported by FASS placement scheme.
