Hi! I’m Ducky, the mascot for Lancaster University Folk Society. I am proud to represent this society because they do all the fun folky things I enjoy:
- Dancing at ceilidhs
- Playing folk music
- Singing folk songs
- Learning how folk dances work and all the different styles there are
At LU Folk Society we learn traditional English, Scottish, European and American music and dance. So if you are interested in either dancing or playing music (or even both like me!) come and give it a try.
Why a duck you ask? Lancaster University is proudly home to our many campus ducks, so it only seemed right.
