Dr. Sadaf Noor Islam

In this weeks episode, Ele and Sayjda talk to the inspiring Dr. Sadaf Noor Islam who discusses the history of her career and family.

Dr Sadaf discusses why she chose Anthropology as her subject matter at University and explains what that means to her. Her PhD title discusses the emotional difficulties families face during life prolonging care and the cost of private health care in Bangladesh. Dr Sadaf also discusses the impact her research had on her own mental health.

We learn about what Ethnography research is and how data is collected, which might be different from what you would expect. The research is much more immersive within ethnography research that other traditional subject matters.
