Summing Up Report 2015

PhD Training Course (Malmö)

Malmö University, Sweden, is offering a PhD training course for 7.5 ECTS credits on Cultural Political Economy in December 2015-April 2016. It will be taught by Bob Jessop and Ngai-Ling Sum with Jonas Alwall and Mikael Stigendal. The course begins with an intensive couple of days introduction to CPE by Bob Jessop and Ngai-Ling Sum; it continues as an interactive on-line course; there will then be a further intensive with presentations and feedback on student work, which must be submitted by the formal end of the course. Registration is free for all students who are accepted but they are responsible for travel, accommodation and subsistence. Details are in the pdf file below.

31st August is a Bank Holiday in England but keys will still be available from the conference office on the Ground Floor of the FASS (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) Building until 11.00 pm (thereafter from the Security Office). Catering facilities previously announced will also be open on 31st August and Ngai-Ling Sum and Bob Jessop look forward to seeing those of you who arrive on Monday and have time and interest in the Graduate Bar near Cartmel College, between 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm.

We have provided up-to-date information and an annotated map concernign access to the conference office (for collecting keys) on the travel website – this supersedes the previous advice
