Registration can be completed at the Lancaster University online store. There are five options for registration. In all cases students should arrange their own travel to/from Lancaster. STFC-funded students can get this reimbursed from STFC. If there is any uncertainty in what registration type you should chose, then please contact us first. Please note that free self-funded student registration places are only provisionally free until registration closes. Registration closes on 09 August 2019 at 17.00 BST.
- STFC-funded postgraduate students: free. Please note that this status will be checked with your supervisor (you will be asked for the contact details of your supervisor during check-out).
- Self-funded postgraduate students: free. Please note that we are required to give first priority to STFC-funded students and so your free registration will only be provisionally free until registration closes.
- Postgraduate students who are sponsored by bodies other than STFC, and who meet STFC’s residence requirements for eligibility for an STFC studentship: tuition is free, a fee of £464.70 is levied for accommodation, meals, refreshments and entertainment.
- Postgraduate students who are employees of UK academic institutions (including RAs on fixed term contracts): tuition is free, a fee of £464.70 is levied for accommodation, meals, refreshments and entertainment.
- Other postgraduate students, including employees of Government Departments, Public Bodies or Industry: £600 covering tuition, accommodation, meals, refreshments and entertainment.
