I am a Postdoctoral Fellow and Lecturer at KU Leuven, focusing on the connection between practice, work, and employment. My research takes a sociologically informed perspective on business, organizational, and political-economic approaches and converges towards working conditions, digitalization, and labour processes. In my current project, I explore issues pertaining to the tension between invisible work and discourses of talent and autonomy in the platform economy, analysing selected cases in the EU and East Asia.

Recently, I have developed an interest in pushing the boundaries of social practices to large phenomena and beyond Western theorisations, at the crossroads of cultural and interpretative nuances of social theory. If you are interested in exchanging ideas within and beyond these areas, please feel free to contact me.
