Recruiting has just opened for a Plant Molecular Physiologist postdoc position with Doug to work on Rubisco engineering, biochemistry, and impacts on photosynthesis.

This is part of a BBSRC funded project looking at novel approaches to improving Rubisco activity, in collaboration with Prof. Martin Cann at Durham University.

This is a 3 year position, ideally starting 1st September, however for the right candidate there is flexibility.

All applications must be submitted via the Lancaster Jobs portal, applications will not be accepted via other means.

Further details, including how to apply, can be found here: https://hr-jobs.lancs.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?id=12432&forced=2

[Edit/update 23rd April] To clarify a couple of points for those unsure:
– yes, people who have not yet received their PhD can apply, provided their timeline for completion is sensible and aligns reasonably well with the start date.
– international people who would need a work visa are also very welcome, I’m proud to have people from all over the world to work with, so that’s not an issue either, I’m looking for the candidate who is the best fit, wherever they are from.
