Hi there! I’m Lara Pecis, Lecturer in Organisation Studies at Lancaster University Management School.

My research interests are primary on gender and diversity in organisations, exploring the dark sides of innovation through the experiences of those that are often marginalized. In this blog, I share my research on what it means to do inclusive innovation,  how it can lead to foster regional growth and productivity, and how we can create more inclusive policies.

Thanks to an ESRC Productivity Insight Network funding, this project looks at the impact of inclusion on regional growth and productivity, how funding is accessed and resources distributed, across various strata of society in NW SMEs, how public and private sector organizations work together in innovation hubs to build inclusion in urban contexts and broader regions.
