The closest airport to Lancaster is Manchester airport with direct trains from the airport to Lancaster (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes – trains heading towards Edinburgh, Glasgow or Barrow-in-Furness).

A direct bus service operates between Lancaster Railway Station and Lancaster University every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday (during the day). Further bus services to Lancaster University are available from Lancaster Bus Station.
Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 33 and take the A6 north towards Lancaster, turn right at the second set of junction traffic lights on the A6 into Hazelrigg Lane (signposted Alexandra Park) and turn left at the roundabout into Alexandra Park Drive onto the Lancaster South Campus. Conference delegates are advised to park in the first car park (Alexandra Park, South Campus).
Parking charges apply. Tickets can be purchased from any of the pay and display machines across campus. Chip and pin card payment facilities are available on pay and display machines. Alternatively, all-day visitor scratch cards will be available at the conference registration desk.
