Join the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) as they journey across the Borderlands, to discover how DASA finds and funds innovation.
DASA will be journeying across the country this June, stopping at locations on both sides of the border from Carlisle to Alnwick, to host briefings aimed at interested parties from academia and industry.
Join us at our event in Carlisle, at Cumbria University, supported by Cumbria Innovations Platform. You will hear an overview of DASA and our funding opportunities from Jonathan Jones: our Innovation Partner for the North West, followed by Tracey North from our Access to Mentoring and Finance team. Later in the morning, Dave Clark from Createc Ltd will present on his experience from the supplier side of working with DASA. There will be lots of opportunities to network with other attendees, and you can sign up for a 1:1 meeting with DASA on the day of the event.
The DASA mission is for the UK to have the most innovative defence and security capabilities in the world. We achieve this by finding and funding innovative ideas from academia and industry, including SME’s and Primes, and seeking to rapidly bring them into use across defence and security.
