At the end of June, Dana Gablasova and Vaclav Brezina took part in the 55th Annual Conference of the National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE) at Aston University in Birmingham. Their presentation introduced the teachers of A level English Language to the the BNClab platform and the functionalities it includes. We also discussed the reasons for using corpora and corpus methods with A-level English Language students and the teaching materials developed for BNClab. It was great to discuss our work with A-level teachers and to share ideas on how corpora can be used in A Level English Language classes.
