Reception
On 2 September (Tuesday), we will hold an informal drinks reception at 17:30 in the foyer of the LICA Building.
Run/walk for fun!
Join us for a social jog or walk around campus on 3 September (Wednesday) at 17:15. Everyone welcome!
Meeting point: Outside LICA (main conference venue)
The 5km run route is trail and hard surface with a short section on the campus perimeter road. The woodland trail section might be slightly muddy.
If you prefer, join us for a 3km walk. The walk route is mainly hard surface with a section on woodland trail. This section might be slightly muddy.
On this route previously we have seen otters, deer, hares, buzzards, kingsfishers and herons. Maybe we will be lucky this time too!
Note that:
- There will be a back jogger/walker to make sure no one gets left behind.
- There will be time to shower and change before heading to the conference dinner.
- Someone will be available to look after bags inside LICA if needed.
- For insurance purposes, you take part at your own risk.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be on 3 September (Wednesday) at 19:30. The dinner will be at the Gregson Centre, a community centre in Lancaster city centre. A vegetarian and vegan buffet will be served.
Tickets are available through the online shop. Please add a ticket when you register for the conference.
