From Manchester Airport there are regular direct trains to Lancaster, taking around 1hr 15min to 30min. A return ticket should be around £36. From the train station you can take a taxi or bus to the campus, which should take between 15-30min.

If you hire a car and are traveling from Manchester International Airport take the M56 motorway at junction 5 and join the M6 motorway at junction 20 (north); then follow the directions by car below. Journey time should be around 1 hour.
From Liverpool John Lennon Airport you should take a bus (80A or 86A) to Liverpool South Parkway railway station, and then a train to Liverpool Lime Street railway station. From there you get a train to Preston or Wigan North Western, from which you can get a train to Lancaster. Avoid travelling to Lancaster via Warrington as there is a walk between stations.
Buses (1, 1A, 100, 4, 42) leave regularly (every 5 minutes on weekdays) for the 20 minute journey to the University. Buses also leave the city centre at Common Garden Street for the University. All buses drop off at the University underpass road in the centre of campus.
