For the main conference, we invite abstracts of up to 200 words on the theoretical dimensions of environmental human rights law. Abstracts should touch on one or more of the four themes, broadly construed. We welcome submissions from legal scholars, philosophers, political theorists, and social scientists more generally.

Call for Papers 2: PGR Roundtable on Environmental Justice

For the PGR Roundtable, we invite abstracts of up to 200 words from PGRs working on the environment, human rights, and climate justice, broadly construed. This Roundtable will offer a dedicated space for emerging scholars to present their research, to discuss it, and to get feedback from leading academics. The Roundtable will be part of the larger conference and will take place on the final afternoon of that larger conference. Presenters at the PGR event will be invited to attend the main conference.

The deadline for abstracts is 6 July 2026. Notification of acceptance will be given by 13 July 2026. Successful applicants will also be asked to submit a short discussion paper of up to 1,500 words by 21 August 2026. These papers will be circulated among roundtable participants and commentators in advance of the conference to facilitate discussion and feedback.
