STARS in Rio

Congratulations to Hannah Cooper and Jasmine Burr-Hersey, cohort 1 STARS students, who have been awarded travel grants by the British Society for Soil Science to travel to the 21st World Congress of Soil Science in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this August.  This is an amazing opportunity for them to join such a large and prestigious meeting in soil science. 7500 participants from science and industry are expected to attend from more than 140 countries, providing great opportunities for networking and possible research collaboration. Jasmine will be presenting a poster and Hannah is giving a talk. We look forward to hearing about their experiences when they return.
