Research Experience Placements – REPs

Having recognised the shortage of individuals with quantitative skills coming into Environmental science, NERC are funding Research Experience Placements (REPs) over the summer for undergraduates studying degrees outside NERC’s remit (EG mathematics, statistics, computing, engineering, & physics). It gives undergraduates the opportunity to spend between 8 and 10 weeks working in an area of environmental research, for which they will receive a stipend (min £200 per week) and some expenses towards research and training from NERC.

If you have a project you think would be suitable for the scheme please complete this brief application form and return it to the STARS office as soon as possible.

If you are an undergraduate in a science subject you can find more information here and can register your interest in taking part by emailing with your contact details.
